Just Trust

Are you on your way somewhere? Do you rely on your GPS to get you there? I do. It’s my best friend when I’m driving. Even when I’m going somewhere familiar. Don’t judge me! I use WAZE so the hiding Po-Pos, i.e the police, can be exposed. I know, pray for me lol.

Have you ever paid attention tho to how much you trust your GPS. Once you enter the destination, you just follow wherever it tells you to go. You just trust that you are going to get there. You don’t worry about the other cars on the road and where they are going. You are focused on your destination. You are so focused, your music is playing and you are jamming. There’s no worry cause you are on your way somewhere. You have a destination. The GPS even gives you an ETA--expected time of arrival. Even in your uncertainty you are still following the voice of the GPS. While driving thru unfamiliar territory, you still follow the voice. WAZE has a setting that will detour you around traffic jams. You rejoice, knowing you are well on your way on a better, sometimes safer route. If you accidentally miss a turn or take the wrong turn, it reroutes you. Yet, you don’t panic. You continue to follow as it routes you back on track. In the same manner the GPS is trusted for direction, God wants you to just trust Him.

You don’t try to figure out the GPS’s course, you just follow. God wants you to stop trying to figure the course and just follow. He knows the plans He has for you. It’s a future and a hope with an ETA. Don’t regret the detours, rejoice and just drive. He knows what’s up ahead like the GPS and don’t want you stuck in a jam. Don’t fear missing turns or taking the wrong turn. If your heart is pure before Him, He will take your mistakes and make them a message and take that message and make it a ministry.

If you wait to follow until you figure the course, you will never get there. We all have a tendency to want to know allllll the details. But God does not give details, He gives directions. Those directions are for the following, not the figuring. Follow God and just trust!
